Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Monthly retainer services and packages

Retainers run an initial term of 3 months, then continue month-to-month, cancellable by either party with 30 days' written notice to the end of a calendar month. There is no cancellation fee — 30 days' notice is the only requirement. Work already delivered within a billed month is not refunded.

2. One-off engagements (audit, consulting hours)

Fully refundable until work commences. Once we've begun delivery (for the audit: once the crawl/review process has started; for consulting hours: once a session has taken place), the purchase is billed pro rata for work actually performed, and the remainder is refunded.

3. Right of withdrawal for consumers (§§ 312g, 355 BGB)

If you are a consumer (i.e. purchasing for purposes outside your trade, business, or profession), you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day of the conclusion of the contract. To exercise the right of withdrawal, inform us (theseodirect, Engelbertstraße 12, 55276 Oppenheim, Germany, support@theseodirect.com) of your decision by an unambiguous statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.

Effects of withdrawal: if you withdraw, we will reimburse all payments received, without undue delay and in any case within 14 days of the day we are informed of your decision, using the same means of payment used for the original transaction.

Special note on services starting within the withdrawal period: if you expressly request that we begin performance before the 14-day withdrawal period expires, you will be liable to pay an amount proportionate to what has been performed up to the point you inform us of withdrawal, compared with the full scope of the contract. If you request full performance before the period expires and it is fully performed, your right of withdrawal expires.
