Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 September 2026
1. Scope
These terms govern all services, packages, and consulting hours purchased from theseodirect (Lukas Reinhardt, Engelbertstraße 12, 55276 Oppenheim, Germany) through this website, whether by consumers or businesses.
2. Contract formation
A contract is formed when you complete checkout and receive an order confirmation with an order reference. Adding items to the cart does not itself form a contract.
3. Prices and VAT
All prices are shown net, in EUR, plus statutory German VAT (currently 19%). Business buyers within the EU who provide a valid VAT ID at checkout are invoiced under the reverse-charge mechanism; VAT is then accounted for by the buyer, not charged by us.
4. Retainer services (monthly)
Monthly retainer services and packages run an initial term of 3 months from the start date, then continue month-to-month, terminable by either party with 30 days' written notice to the end of a calendar month. Notice may be given by email to support@theseodirect.com.
5. One-off engagements
The SEO Audit & Strategy product and consulting hour blocks are one-off purchases with no minimum term. Consulting hour blocks are valid for the stated window from purchase (6 months for the 5-hour block, 12 months for the 10-hour block) and expire unused thereafter.
6. Deliverables and timelines
Each service page states its first-deliverable timeline. These are working-day estimates from kickoff (i.e. from receipt of the access/information described on /method/), not from order date, and may shift if requested access is delayed.
7. What we don't guarantee
We do not guarantee any specific search ranking, ranking position, or traffic outcome — no one can, and any promise to the contrary would be false. What we do commit to: the scope stated at kickoff, the deliverable timelines stated on each service page, and honest reporting on what changed and what didn't.
8. Client obligations
You agree to provide timely access (analytics, Search Console or equivalent, CMS, and ticketing system where relevant) and a point of contact for check-ins. Delays in access may delay deliverable timelines correspondingly.
9. Intellectual property
Deliverables produced specifically for you (audits, briefs, reports, code changes we make on your systems) become yours on full payment. Our internal methodology, templates, and know-how remain ours.
10. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep the other's confidential business information private, using it only to perform the contract.
11. Liability
Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the relevant service in the 12 months preceding the claim, except for liability arising from intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body, or health, where German law does not permit such a limitation.
12. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by German law. For contracts with merchants, the venue is Mainz, Germany (nearest competent court to Oppenheim). Consumer statutory rights are unaffected.
13. Severability
If any provision of these terms is invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force.
